Desert Cruising on Camel-Back-Ride

Forty Days Road trip (2Nights / 3 Days):
This trip could be organized on this famous
road for 3 days or even being extended to end up in Salima
Oasis up north in the heart of Libyan Desert. The Forty days
Road is an ageless route, which had been used in the ancient
times to export products of western African countries. Such
as Ebony, Ostrich Feathers, Gold, Ivory & Slaves.
Recently Mr. Michael Usher the famous
English travel writer has written a book about this route
called (On The Forty Days Road).
However, on the Forty Days Road we find a
hundred of hundreds of camel carcasses that could be seen
accumulated alongside this road.

Camel Back-Ride in North Kordofan (6
Nights / 7 Days):
This trip starts from Khartoum in vehicles
to end up in Alobeid for the first night. A short visit will
be paid to Shikan Museum, which contains military implements
collected of the field where the battle took place in 1883
between the English Colonel/ Hykes Bash and The Mahadya
troops.
Next morning we drive to overnight in
Bashiree Oasis, which is situated in the heart of the desert
surrounded by the desert sea. The breed of camels & sheep’s
found in this area are very sought after.
From Bashiree the cameleers caravan start
north, eastward to visit Attaweel Oasis, then turning fully
westward to Um Sadoon Oasis at a very giant dune, where
people can stay overnight to camp, making bonfire, barbecue
& Sahara bread made on sandy stove before returning back to
Bashiree and take the vehicles back to Khartoum.
